An exciting new extension to the Conservation Education Centre at Bristol Zoological Gardens in Clifton in the centre of Bristol. Aimed at meeting the requirements for higher education Students in partnership with a number of local Universities.

The existing education centre was extended to create lecture rooms, laboratories, student common room and an IT suite.

The Centre is highly sustainable using natural ventilation turrets with fresh air drawn into the building via a deep void below the ground floor slab.

Smith Consult produced the Building Services Design for the project and carried out site duties during the construction period.
